MEET Desiree

Desiree has been performing in front of an audience since she was three years old.  She studied dance for 15 years under the direction of Sandy DiMarco and Bob Karl (Karl & DiMarco).  During this time she became a part of Junior Dance Company and would perform in Christmas shows at MacDill AFB.  With the help of the amazing Tony Garcia, Jr. (USO Entertainment Director), Desiree as a member of the Karl and DiMarco Junior Dance Company was able to perform the "soft-shoe" with Bob Hope at MacDill AFB.   For a very short time Desiree studied voice (singing/inflection) under the direction of Greta Aldene.

Desiree has also performed several voice overs successfully for City of Tampa Government Channel and was host of a show called "Tampa Notes" for several years and went on to become a volunteer coorespondant with City of Tampa Television where she had a place on air for 13 years.  It was during this time she was able to produce/write some of the show pieces for City of Tampa Television.  Under the direction of Joseph C. Murgia, Jr. she shares the Bronze Golden Palm Award in recognition of Organizational News "Tampa Notes" for the ITVA Region XIII Florida (1996).  Desiree has performed in a number of local venues as well as the Florida State Capitol rotunda in Tallahassee, Fl for the Status on Women Hall of Fame induction ceremony.  She currently resides in Apollo Beach, Florida and is happily married with two step-children and her perfect rescue dog, "Sadie" who enjoys howling(singing) whenever the National Anthem is sung.

Desiree is proud and would be honored to sing the

National Anthem Acapella for your next event.
